The standard length of a Season is 3 months or slightly less than 3 months. Several Seasons ago, Blizzard said, they will aim for a length of 3 months for every future season. The previous seasons were only 2,5 months though. Let’s have a look at the Season starts and ends of previous Seasons:

  • Season 7: August 5, 2016 – October 14, 2016
  • Season 8: October 21, 2016 – December 30, 2016
  • Season 9: January 6, 2017 – March 17, 2017
  • Season 10: March 31, 2017 – June 23, 2017
  • Season 11: July 20, 2017 – ?

As you can see, the length of Season 7 – 9 was about 2,5 months. The time between each Season was either 1 or 2 weeks. If Blizzard continues this schedule, we can expect Season 10 to end in the middle of June. Blizzard may extend the duration, depending on the development of the Necromancer. If everything goes well, Season 11 may start in the end of June or beginning of July.
